The winners of a recent competition run by Coldroom Studios have been announced. The competition, which involved a public vote on a shortlist of Oxfordshire bands and musicians based on a sample track, had prizes on offer of recording, mixing, mastering and rehearsal time at the Cumnor studio.

The winners were selected yesterday and are as follows:

First place: Punch Drunk Monkey Club (1,193 votes)

Second place: dropout (1,035 votes)

Third place: Stroke Of Luck (381 votes)
