Quinta (aka Kath Mann) is a multitalented multi-instrumentalist who has worked with some of the most interesting musicians and groups of the past few years: Bat for Lashes, Patrick Wolf, Radiohead’s Phil Selway and Paper Cinema are just a selection of those.

Her own music excels in quietly wrong-footing the lazy listener. In the gentlest possible ways she takes you down musical routes you never expected, with seemingly naïve simplicity, blending piano with a host of other acoustic instruments.

Hamilton Yarns, described as producing “distressed parlour music” by Wire magazine, mix lo-key synthesizers with trumpet and myriad acoustic instruments to beguiling effect. The result is otherworldly yet simultaneously as direct and honest as music comes.
