Silhouettes: From Wolverhampton, they say they make “ambient, dark, lovelorn music, using synths, beats and a little bit of guitar”, which is admittedly true, but their post-Radiohead rock is rather more emotionally exhilarating than this would imply.

Walt Frisbee: A big party-down mess of samples, funky drumming and 8-bit bounce, but there’s a sly wink and a joyous chuckle in the execution that makes it more satisfying than yet another bit of disco fodder.
