Hey look! It’s another new release. Lots of Oxford music action going on right now, which is very cool.
Crayon’s new album Seconds Are Hours is a pretty tasty nine-track overview of what they do; in some places they call themselves ‘indie rock’, in others they have the excellent description ‘an Oxford five-piece you might describe as if Camel were REM and Radiohead’. Skittish, charming indie-pop is what we might say.
The album is below, it has a really rather fantastic photograph on its cover, and it can be downloaded to keep for £7. The band promise that if they sell enough digital copies, they’ll get a vinyl release together as well.
