This is the strangely-titled new single from Tamara And The Martyrs, following on from ‘Get Him Out’, released earlier in the year (read about that here). Both singles are from the forthcoming debut album Girl Jokes About Boy Parts which is due for release in December.

‘Shit Joan Shit’ includes three tracks – ‘Come And Get Me’, ‘Stagger Lee’ and ‘Warm Kiss’ – and continues in the vein of ‘Get Him Out’ with warm, strong, vocals, lush-sounding guitars and carefully-arranged songs. On these tracks, the first two especially, there’s a welcome creeping feeling of some blues-esque dirt being thrown in.

The single is available to stream and download via Bandcamp right now (see below), with a CD version also up for grabs. There’s a gig to launch the single tonight (25 September) at The Library in Oxford; get down there for eight o’clock to catch Tamara And The Martyrs as well as Candy Says and Bethany Weimers.
