A Carnival lovers’ night with Oxford’s own Cuban-style big band Ran Kan Kan and London’s top Cuban rhythm ensemble Orchestra Bombo.

Orchestra Bombo is a juggernaut of Cuban carnival rhythm and dance. With a rhythm section led by top UK percussionists plus vocals, horns and dance they are a joyous explosion of authentic Cuban carnival vibes.

Ran Kan Kan were born in 2011 from a meeting of Oxford-based brass and Latin music fanatics. They have laboured with love and respect to bring you classic songs from the golden age of Cuban Big Bands, and as ever promise a new repertoire with tunes never before performed in Oxford.
