Event Navigation
Tautas Roks is a young and energetic folk rock band with a growing reputation. They draw on wide influences but, as they also have roots in Moulton Morris Men, the band’s musicians know exactly what makes for good dancing and a great night out! Their music spans from revamped traditional folk tunes and songs, to reggae and ska all the way through to rock. The line-up features Kristaps Fisher on melodeon, Andrew Care on guitars, Simon ‘Waffle’ Nay also on guitars, Maris Fisher on bass guitar and Robert Care on drums.
Dave Hunt returns to Oxfolk to call the dances. His legendary irreverence never fails to win the affection of the audience.
At half-time, Abingdon Traditional Morris Dancers will entertain with dancing and music, accompanied by their famous antique ox horns, which have a long and colourful history!
