Fresh Out The Box celebrates its 10th birthday, with old-skool legends Shades Of Rhythm providing the soundtrack for a good old-fashioned throw-down in true FOTB rave style!

Shades Of Rhythm: Nick Slater & LANX met when they were very young in their hometown of Peterborough. In 1989 things quickly started taking shape when multiple tracks from their self-pressed album Frequency took hold of the emerging Rave scene. Shades of Rhythm were thrown into a rave whirlwind and played alongside groundbreaking artists The Prodigy, N-joi and K-Klass at raves and clubs such as Raindance, Fantasia, The Astoria and The Haçienda.

Kostas G is an emerging DJ and producer who has received praise and support from the likes of the Plump DJs, Meat Katie, and label head Lee Coombs; who after hearing his entry into the Thrust Recordings remix competition quickly snapped him up and recruited him to write a full-length artist album Kaleidoscope, due out this autumn.

Ed Steele has DJed across the UK alongside acts including Altern-8, James Holden, Andrew Weatherall, Alter Ego and Will Saul. His productions have now been snapped up by Bristol based Aux Technology and Census Sounds.
