Electronic music promoters The Modernist Disco, who previously compiled the We Do Not Have A Dinosaur collection to raise funds for the Red Cross fund for Japan, have announced the first in what will hopefully be a regular series of live music nights.
They’re bringing the ‘batshit crazy beats & pieces’ (thanks, Dazed & Confused) of Gyratory System to the Cellar on 11 August. The live electronica act, described by NME as like ‘a score written by Kraftwerk and Looney Tunes’, will be supported by two Oxford acts, Manacles Of Acid and Tiger Mendoza.
Get yourself along for some neato live electronica. Things will kick off from 8.30 pm. It’s just £5 on the door, or £4 in advance (tickets from WeGotTickets) or with a flyer that you can pick up in the Truck Store on Oxford’s Cowley Road.
