The London premiere of Jon Spira’s Oxford music historicumentary (that’s our word, but you’re welcome to use it) Anyone Can Play Guitar takes place at the esteemed BFI Southbank on 4 November. Full details are available here, but in brief, the movie’s showing will be augmented with a star-studded Q&A session. The session, hosted by Adam Buxton, will feature Spira, Gaz Coombes of Supergrass, and Radiohead’s Colin Greenwood and Ed O’Brien.
Contributions via IndieGoGo are still being welcomed to help fund the film, and such contributors will snaffle a special edition of the two-disc extended DVD, which includes a third disc containing a 90-minute additional film (!) constructed by Spira from his favourite interviews that didn’t make the main movie’s final cut.
