Fancy winning some stuff? A few folks involved in the process of taking music and turning it into stuff have launched a competition for local musicians and bands. Studio8 Video, Coozes Recording Studio, Oxford Duplication Centre and One Man Band – respectively involved in video production, audio recording, CD/DVD duplication, and musical instrumentation and training – have created Get:Tuned, which invites interested parties to submit their own video of an original song.

The submissions will be whittled down to a shortlist of twenty, through a public voting process, and then these twenty will be appraised by judges from the organising companies to decide on a winner. The winner gets a pretty tasty prize: a three day recording session at Coozes, a video produced by Studio 8, CDs made by Oxford Duplication Centre and £60 to spend at One Man Band.
