Lots of songs have featured Sunday as a theme or lyrical hook. Blur’s ‘Sunday Sunday'; Velvet Underground’s ‘Sunday Morning'; Joni Mitchell’s ‘Sunny Sunday'; and on and on and on. Nobody has yet written a song about the Sunday evening radio show BBC Introducing in Oxford. Surely that’s just a matter of time, though? At least one of the Oxford bands that are given airtime will definitely pen a tune about the show. Betcha.
