The ‘Record and Ride’ project was mentioned here a few weeks ago. It’s the undertaking of an Oxford-based sound engineer and cyclist, which will include a long European cycling trip, during which several music and sound recordings will be taken and shared with followers of the project.
The journey begins in a couple of days, with Nicholas O’Brien making his first recording in Oxford. This will take place on 7 April, under the bridge between the Plough and the Trout in Wolvercote. O’Brien invites anybody interested to “join us for an afternoon of recording, music and Port Meadow chill-out before I leave”. From then on, the project will see O’Brien travel around Europe, posting updates and sound recordings on his website along the way.
