Undersmile - Narwhal artwork

New album, video and Riverside Festival headline slot for Undersmile

Everybody loves a bit of sludgy, grinding, heavy doom rock music, don’t they? Of course they do. And everybody that likes that should like Undersmile, Oxford’s very own purveyors of such partypartyparty music. Why are they being mentioned? Well, they’ve just released a new, 80-minute album, called Narwhal, on Future Noise Records. It’s available to purchase from the Future Noise online store for £10.

If you’re a careful shopper and want to try before you by, then Undersmile have thought of you and put together a very nice video for a track from the album, ‘Milk':

To complete the audio-video-live performance triumvirate, you can see Undersmile play live when they headline the second stage on the Saturday of Charlbury Riverside Festival on 16 June. You should be heading to Riverside anyway to check out a pretty amazing selection of Oxford music for free.

The director of the ‘Milk’ video, M. Arthur Wickson, is up for working with local bands on more video projects – anybody interested can email him here.
