This was going to start off with “The Gathering Festival, taking place on 20 October, promises to be a source of lots of great music…” until it was realised that a festival itself can’t make promises. It’s not like a festival is a sentient being, able to make promises, is it? So, scratch that.
The Gathering Festival, taking place on 20 October, will be a source of lots of great music. The multi-venue event kicks off in the mid-afternoon, runs until the early hours, and many bands will play many sets to many people – not only a smattering of Oxford’s brightest and best, but lots more from beyond our fair crenellated city walls including Liars – LIARS! – LIARS!!, amongst others.
