Listing Ships seek remixers for forthcoming album

There must be a remix-y kind of something in the air, as this is the second remix-related news story of the day. Listing Ships released their latest record The Hayling Island Sessions in October last year, and within its nine tracks it included two remixes by Rackham and Karhide.

Well, they’re going one step further and have decided to release a whole album full of remixes in March – and as such, they’re inviting anybody out there who’s up for it to rework one of the Hayling Island Sessions tracks in whatever way they feel like. A traditional remix; some vocals stuck on the top; a re-recorded cover version on zither and flugelhorn; they’re up for them all.
