Recording and touring with ex-Miles Davis saxophonist, Steve Grossman, as Damon has done over the last few years means he is a lot more than straight ahead but he is certainly one of the grooviest, bluesiest trumpeters working in the the UK. Damon has spent time on the Parisian jazz scene working with the top French and expat Americans on the circuit in France; in the last few years, he has been commuting to South East Asia and becoming a name on that burgeoning scene, playing at the Singapore, Jakarta and Hong Kong jazz festivals.
