Event Navigation
English Sporting Defeat are influenced by Robert Scott, Harry Pearce and Kieran Brown’s childhood years in The Forum, Tunbridge Wells and the grimy venues of London, and from Jessy Watson’s background in film and classical music.
Native Roses: Formed by the founding members of Modern Fighting Vehicles, Native Roses has swelled its ranks with such darlings as Jessica and Jasmine (aka Birdy), who has subsequently landed a great solo recording contract with Atlantic.
Passengers: A three-piece band that have been ruining the idyllic quiet of rural Worcestershire for a few years now with an ability to mix driving, alt. rock riffs with catchy and melodic acoustic tunes.
The Crooked Empire: A four-Piece indie-rock band from the Midlands that have been quoted as being “The greatest pure rock’n’roll act in the two counties” (Andy O’Hare, BBC Hereford & Worcester) and for the past two years have had one of their songs voted in the top 10 favorites on the Andrew Marston Show on BBC Hereford & Worcester.
