Earlier this month the O2 Academy in Oxford played host to the Mercury-nominated Jessie Ware, bringing a strain of slightly refined pop music to the normally sweat-drenched venue. We hear that the crowd, as they say, went wild. Birmingham up-and-comer Laura Mvula tagged along for the melodic ride.
