Gappy Tooth IndustriesAgness Pike: “Agness Pike would be just another metal band – albeit a satisfyingly crunchy one – were it not for frontman martin Spear. Tonight he’s left the handbag at home and instead plumped for a lilac Pringle tank-top, impeccably neat moustache, glasses and a wig so dense and large it’s verging on being a busby. The overall effect is part Anchorman character, part 70s golfer and part old-school porn star. With Spear at the helm, delivering his vocals with mock gravitas and dispensing etiquette tips for ladies in between songs, what would be no-nonsense hard rock is the exact opposite – superbly entertaining OTT performance art” – Nightshift

The Grafham Water Sailing Club: “In a saturated market it’s difficult to find demos better than your average Joe’s bedroom lo-fi crackle. ‘The Butcher of Barcelona’ is an ode to late 1970s post-punk gothic rock, but not a carbon copy – that would be offensive to The Grafham Water Sailing Club. While bearing elements of a style similar to that of Ian Curtis and co. is only a compliment of the highest order, this demo is a dark adventure into the mind of four lads from Coventry with a unique touch. Keep your eyes wide open for this lot.” – Counteract magazine

Kid Kin: “His style fluctuates within the realm of post-rock, though there are definitive aspects taken from other genres as well. You’ll hear plenty of piano woven in between the tracks, while at times you’ll encounter synthesizers making for a creative mixture between traditional post-rock tunes and electronic synth pop.” – Earmilk
