A trans-Atlantic killer band graces the stage of The Spin club this week. Alex Garnett, one of the leading lights of the London scene, teams up with New York sax heavyweight Tim Armacost (a regular in both Maria Schneider and David Murray Big Bands); the rhythm section also has a pond-crossing vibe, bringing the great American bassist, Mike Janisch into synchronicity with two top British players, both truly world class in their own right, Liam Noble (piano) and James Maddren (drums).

The playing is steeped in jazz but the band brings new and exciting repertoire. All these players are right at the top of the international jazz circuit.
