Alexis Taylor is a musician, producer, DJ and songwriter from London, a co-founder of Grammy-nominated pop group Hot Chip, and member of improvised/non-improvised music project About Group.

Alexis will be performing music from his new solo album Await Barbarians, released by Domino Records on 16 June. Await Barbarians is a record whose warm tones draw you in, whose sequencing asks of the listener an uninterrupted session of close listening, and whose sound world reminds us of the pleasures of all that is quiet in music. It is rich in deep insight and profound feeling, a truly significant album by one of the country’s most continually arresting musicians.

Opening the show will be Oxford-based, hotly-tipped band Be Good.
