An evening of live music, poetry and film curated and hosted by poet-singer-songwriter Humphrey ‘Huck‘ Astley and PinDrop, as part of Modern Art Oxford’s William Morris/Andy Warhol exhibition Love Is Enough. Featuring:
- The Handsome Fee: Huck’s original Gothic Americana band, featuring Tamara Parsons-Baker, playing their first show in five years.
- Billy T’rivers & The Wild West Retirement Home: Playing songs from their acclaimed debut album.
- El Habib Louai: Performing Arabic translations of classic beat poetry, backed by a three-piece jazz band.
- Henry Stead: performing his future-classical AV poem Attis, as seen supporting Kate Tempest.
- Huck: Playing songs from Alexander the Great: a Folk Operetta and performing poems with original video by AV artiste Bat Halliday.
Plus a short film screening and more TBA.
