One of the most influential and respected of British tenor players, Art Themen‘s career began with his working on the London blues scene Jack Bruce and Alexis Korner. From there, he went on establish his reputation as one of the greats on the UK jazz scene; he has worked with almost everyone of note but one of his most enduring associations was with another great – Stan Tracey – with whom Art played for over a twenty year period.
