Ayanna is an extraordinary blues, folk and soul singer. She brings out of the cello and piano resonant and personal stories with a beautiful directness. Recognised by many as a singular talent, Ayanna was nominated for Best Jazz Act at the 2012 Mobo Awards and was the first non-American to win the legendary Amateur Night at the Apollo Theatre in Harlem. Having performed at the opening event of London Jazz Festival in 2011 and alongside legends such as Hugh Masekela, Kronos Quartet and Jack DeJohnette this is a stunning chance to see her in such an intimate venue.
