Bambino dell’Oro have been awarded a residency at the OVADA warehouse starting on 3 June 2013. The residency will end with two performances on 14 and 15 June at the warehouse. As part of the residency Bambino will collaborate with a visual artist to develop a set allowing the duo to extend their performance from the playing of their instruments to the set itself.

Bambino dell’Oro are an Oxfordshire-based acoustic piano/drums duo. Drawing upon influences varying from jazz to prog-rock to minimal and experimental music, they have a unique focus on intricate and intriguing live shows which incorporate other less conventional instruments such as glockenspiel, melodica, bouzouki and extra percussion.

On 14 June, Bambino dell’Oro will be supported by:

Jack & The Arrows: sublime trio with stunning vocal harmonies and beautiful songs. Jack and his band are always a jaw dropping, eye-dilating, ear-tickling act to experience.

Count Drachma: Zulu Maskandi music. Look out for looped saxophone grooves, Reggaeton percussion and Celtic overtones!
