A rare chance to see the four first ladies of folk, all of whom play the violin and sing simultaneously. Twice Mercury nominated folk royalty Eliza Carthy, BBC Radio 2 folk award winner Bella Hardy, Scotland’s rising folk pioneer Kate Young and songwriter and singer Lucy Farrell come together touring their new album Laylam (meaning chorus). Together their tight harmonies and layered rhythms are joyous.
