Long-time pillar of the Welsh folk music scene and founder of the seminal band Fernhill, Ceri Rhys Matthews brings his intimate solo show to the beautiful Warneford chapel. Rambles Through Tunes is inspired by his long solo walks along the stunning Pembrokeshire coastline and brings together a deep love of the landscape with the age old tradition of combining music with storytelling. Ceri creates a disarming patchwork of song, flute, poetry, pipes, social history and memory. Not storytelling, but telling stories; not performing, but playing music; not chatting, but sharing histories.
