Chalice are a popular Cotswolds-based five-piece contemporary folk band. They all play a wide range of instruments including guitars, mandola, electric bass, recorders, whistles and cajons and all sing in close harmony. They are proud to have performed in concerts supporting Cara Dillon, Chris While & Julie Mathews, Steve Tilston, John Tams & Barry Coope, Martin Simpson and Mayor & James and Jez Lowe.
Dear Someone are a two-piece band comprising Mandy (voice and percussion) and Patrick (voice and baritone ukulele). They first met many years ago and then ran into each other again in 2010 as members of the Wychwood Chorale (an Oxfordshire community choir). They share a love of American folk music sung in harmony and for the last two years have been developing a repertoire of traditional songs and those by artists such as Gillian Welch, Tom Waits, Jolie Holland and Michael Hurley.
