Christine Tobin and Phil Robson have been working at the leading edge of European jazz for over two decades. Christine is a remarkable vocalist – her performing and writing skills have led to a clutch of awards and most recently, she was named Jazz Vocalist of the Year in the 2014 Parliamentary Jazz Awards. Romantic and radical, she is a true free spirit in contemporary music. Her longtime collaborator, Phil Robson, is regarded as one of the leading guitar players in European jazz; Phil, over the last ten years, has begun to work on the other side of the Atlantic with the likes of world class jazz musicians such as Billy Hart and James Genus, and one of the great contemporary saxophonists, Dave Liebman, described him as a “wonderful guitarist and composer… definitely a unique player.”
