A cappella trio singing English roots music. Described as “quite simply the best purveyors of a cappella song on these Islands”, Coope, Boyes and Simpson are an English vocal folk trio, formed in 1990. They combine unique reworkings of traditional material and well‐crafted, original songs with beautifully memorable tunes, soaring harmonies and words that strike a chord.

Over the last twenty years, as well as recording a series of critically-acclaimed albums, they have worked on a number of exclusive projects, one of which was at the National Theatre. They collaborated and performed with former Children’s Laureate Michael Morpurgo in Private Peaceful, their powerful lyrics forming the perfect story-telling accompaniment.
