Following the announcement of their highly anticipated new album Wonderful, Glorious – out on 4 February through E Works/Vagrant Records – Eels have released details of an extensive UK tour.

It will be the band’s first UK tour since their critically acclaimed 2011 shows which included a Glastonbury set heralded by many as one of the performances of the festival. The Telegraph called the appearance “a witty, energetic and musically stunning set” in their list of top 10 highlights, while The Independent says it was “a soulful, funny, crowd-winning show” in their list of top 5 highlights.

New album Wonderful, Glorious, recorded in Everett’s new Los Feliz, CA studio dubbed ‘The Compound’, is his first album since 2010’s Tomorrow Morning – the final part of a trilogy of albums including End Times and Hombre Lobo.
