Newly signed to Oxford’s Alcopop! Records, Emperor Yes have been beamed down from outer space, bringing with them a blast of extravagant cosmic hypercolour. The trio is something of a supergroup made up of producer Ash Gardner, Three-Trapped-Tigers-octopus-drummer Adam Betts and solo-artist Hugo Sheppard… and their record sounds like it’s been fuelled by too much Mountain Dew, creatively-prepared mushrooms and a whole lot of unicorn tears.
