Jack Pescod was bandleader for an Oxford-based institution, The Barcode Trio, up until 2008. They were responsible for some of the most innovative, exciting and deep groove-based jazz Oxford has ever borne witness to. A self-taught pianist since the age of five, an original composer, songwriter and a natural improviser, Jack has performed at some of the UK’s most prestigious events, including headlining the Brecon Jazz Festival and being invited to play for royalty. His album with Barcode License To Live and solo albums Circles and Home have been met with great critical acclaim.
