One of the most compelling pianists in European jazz, having just completed a national tour with his US trio, whose latest album Dragonfly has attracted considerable interest and acclaim on both sides of the Atlantic. Since the early 90s, when he was voted Most Promising Newcomer in the British Jazz Awards, Jon has gone on to appear at festivals and clubs in over 18 countries, and worked with the most celebrated musicians from both sides of the Atlantic – this includes work with Benny Golson, Joe Lovano, Pharoah Sanders, Tim Whitehead, Tony Kofi and Cleveland Watkiss.
