Event Navigation
Lucy Leave formed (after playing together in other bands for some years) in September, and have been writing and rehearsing since then. They self-recorded a one-song demo in January, which has been picked up to feature on a compilation, Songs For Brazil, of UK indie music for the Brazilian market. Lucy Leave are a three-piece band whose influences include Deerhoof, Sleater-Kinney, Soft Machine, early Pink Floyd, and Iggy and the Stooges.
Esther Joy Lane is a 23 year-old DIY producer and singer-songwriter from Oxford. Her music revolves around melodic guitars, ambient vocals and various electronic elements, with songs combining these components as well as exploring them individually.
Listening to Johanna Amelie‘s songs is like traveling through dreams. Marvelous melodies accompanied by guitar or piano are inviting the listeners to immerse in a very personal world of tones and soundscapes. Johanna Amelie’s style is often associated with singer-songwriters like Joni Mitchell, Regina Spektor or Feist.
