Phil Robson was awarded the prestigious Jazz Musician of the Year 2009 in the Parliamentary Jazz Awards and has recently recorded a series of well received albums recorded with top players on either side of the pond – The Immeasurable Code featuring Mark Turner and Julian Arguelles and a trio album with two legendary American musicians, Billy Hart on drums and James Genus on bass. He is, as they say, the finished product and a truly inspiring jazz musician.
