Established in 2005, Phronesis have a fierce reputation as one of the most imaginative and exciting jazz trios in the UK. Collectively combining their astounding individual musicianship to create a formidable unity, the trio’s live performance is utterly compelling, inspiring and able to move people in a way that very few bands can. From laid back grooves to electrifying pace, their bass-driven sound shifts from lush Brazilian flourishes to dark contemplation. The band features Danish double-bassist Jasper Høiby, UK pianist Ivo Neame and Swedish drummer Anton Eger.
