Folk-noir balladeer Rachel Sermanni is on the road, again, with a new studio album Tied To The Moon. 2015 will see her touring in celebration of the record and with a collection of her drawings – nudes and dreams – following their debut exhibition in Edinburgh in 2014.

Rachel is 23. Has been singing her songs since leaving school. Channelling spirits of all ages and archetypes. Weaving images of childhood, womanhood, of instinct and inhibition simply with the breath in her lungs, a hardy martin guitar and a bandolim called Sue. She’s travelled all over, singing. Most recently: Iceland Airwaves Festival. Canada; touring solo and as support. Various, prestigious festivals: Calgary Folk Fest, Interstellar Rodeo, Dawson City Music Festival where she recorded her Live Album with Jennifer Austin on Piano. Australia over the festive period for the amazing Woodford Folk Festival alongside fellow scots, Breabach and the Peatbog Faeries. She’s supported many marvels including John Grant, Fink, Mumford and Sons, Ron Sexsmith and Elvis Costello.
