The last show from the founder of Smash Disco, Doug Hale. So, it’s a pop-punk Americana mash-up!
Rainbow Reservoir: The Smash Disco house band, being wheeled out from the storage cupboard once again, this time to headline the show. They sing fuzzed up pop songs about suicidal stereos and wanting to bang your dentist.
Huck And The Handsome Fee: Griefy melodious Americana from some old Oxford music scene heads. Fun fact, they recently reformed after a five year hiatus. The number of years a band stays on hiatus (up to 20 years max) is directly proportionate to how awesome they are. They are now 5 times more awesome than they used to be, which makes them pretty frickin’ awesome.
Billy T’rivers And The Wild West Retirement Home: Alt-country delivered by Mr. Billy T’Rivers and the care staff from the nursing home where he resides. They launched their cracking album at Smash Disco last year and everybody threw down like it was a hoedown. Repeat performance please.
