Swindlestock celebrates the life of the itinerant soul. Country, blues and folk tales from the byways of the world, seen from two wheels at speed or more slowly by feet, here are songs of place and the people they meet…
The Oh So Many: Born on a brindling day in April 2012 of a hangover and a critical mass of interested musicians The Oh So Many have taken several forms and consisted of a dozen or so different players and an even larger number of different instruments. They play an odd mix of quirky folk, folky pop and poppy quirk, often with our collective tongue firmly in cheek. Basically a folk-pop hydra.
Huck: A one-man project writing a three part americana operetta on Alexander The Great. Sometimes working with the Xander band, but tonight will be just him, his guitar and some powerful yarns. Described much more eloquently by the fabulous Candy Says as ‘Someone who is familiar but still mysterious. Someone with an artistic manifesto rather than a business plan. The poet, the singer, the legend… Huck!’
