The Impossible Gentlemen @ The Wheatsheaf, Oxford

Thursday 17 October 2013, 8:15 pm - 11:00 pm

£20 / £18 (concessions) / £16 (students)

The Wheatsheaf signTwo of The Impossible Gentlemen are British; Gwilym Simcock is being hailed as one of the finest contemporary jazz pianists anywhere – Chick Corea recently described him as a ‘genius’ – and alongside him, Mike Walker is, in the view of many, the best British jazz guitarist of his generation. They are joined from the USA by one of the most celebrated bassists in jazz, Steve Rodby, who is known to most of us as the bassist in The Pat Metheny Group, and on drums is Adam Nussbaum, a Grammy winner and known for his playing with Michael Brecker, John Scofield and many more.

Seats are sold out but there is plenty of standing room.
