Event Navigation
The Lanner Quartet believes that everybody likes great music but classical performances need to be reformed in order to attract the public as they once did. So this ensemble, a cultural start-up venture, was brought to life in the summer of 2012 with a particular aim: to bring to the cultural world a string-quartet radically different in its style, operation, programme and musical approach from traditional quartets.
They call their self-directed performances ‘Musical Treats’. These are free of charge, and welcome the audience with music of the highest standard as well as with gastronomic delicacies. These Musical Treats have always moderated themselves as well as prepared new transcriptions.
Members of the orchestra

- Zoltán Fekete: Viola artist, Budapest Festival Orchestra and Erkel Ferenc Chamber Orchestra.
