Tony Woods is a remarkable player; he came to prominence in jazz circles releasing three albums with his group The Tony Woods Project. These critically acclaimed albums led to subsequent work at the London and Manchester Jazz Festivals, and a succession of dates at top jazz venues such as Ronnie Scott’s and Pizza Express as well as concerts at the Royal Festival Hall and the Purcell Room, on the South Bank.

Tony’s playing is characterised by powerful melodies, a deep knowledge of jazz, rock and folk musics and his great sound on the instrument.
